Betsy Peck Named to Executive Leadership Honor Roll of OnBoard

The Market Brief, compiled by First Multiple Listing Service (FMLS), provides the only regionally-focused synopsis of monthly sales and home prices for single family residential properties.

Carter Announces Private Property Debris Removal for Chatham County

Congressman Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (GA-01) today announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has approved Chatham County for Private Property Debris Removal. The move comes after weeks of effort led by Carter along with Senators Johnny Isakson and David Perdue.

Six Georgia Communities Selected for State Housing Program

Six Georgia communities have been newly selected to receive assistance with their housing needs through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH), a public-private initiative that helps communities strategically grow their economies through housing-related solutions. Bartow County and the Cities of Commerce, Dublin, Fairburn, Warrenton and Union City will begin the three-year program in February.

The Boulder Group, a net leased investment brokerage firm, has completed the sale of a McDonald’s ground lease located at 6126 Hickory Flat Highway in Canton, Georgia for $1,370,000. The 4,024 square foot McDonald’s is strategically positioned on Hickory Flat Highway, the primary artery connecting Cherokee County and Fulton County.

Atlanta’s First Restaurant Dog Park Takes Root

Stephen Ochs and his business partner former Falcons player Garrett Reynolds today unveiled plans to launch Atlanta’s first restaurant and dog park bar concept in the Old Fourth Ward. Located at the intersection of Decatur Street and Boulevard, the restaurant will include Fetch Ice House, a full-service eatery and bar, and Fetch Park, an on-site dog park bar.

DCA awards $20.5 million in Housing Tax Credits

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) announced today it will award $20.5 million federal housing tax credits to construct or rehabilitate 25 affordable rental housing properties located throughout the state. Mayor Kasim Reed Advances $380 Million in New Transportation Infrastructure Spending...

Mayor Kasim Reed announced today that the Atlanta City Council has voted 13 to 1 to approve a measure to put a special local option sales tax (TSPLOST) referendum on the November ballot to fund transportation related infrastructure projects throughout the City of Atlanta. The ballot referendum will ask Atlanta voters to authorize a 0.4 percent sales tax increase for a five-year period. The TSPLOST is projected to generate approximately $260 million, which will be leveraged to generate additional matching funds.
