ALPHARETTA, GA - March 30, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- Verint® Systems Inc. has signed a new lease for 132,000 square feet of office space at 800 North Point Parkway in Alpharetta, Ga., announced commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. Verint will relocate from its existing address in Roswell, Ga., marking an expansion of the company’s regional operations of more than 35 percent.

ATLANTA, GA - November 29, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Sears Holdings/Kmart has signed a lease for 226,000 square feet at 5290 Old Dixie Highway in Forest Park, Ga. Sears/Kmart was represented in the renewal/expansion by Ray Stache, James Phillpott, and Lisa Bosshardt-Pittman of the Atlanta office of Cushman & Wakefield. The warehouse/distribution facility at 5290 Old Dixie Highway is owned by SPG Forest Park, LLC.

Mayor Kasim Reed announced today that the Atlanta City Council has voted 13 to 1 to approve a measure to put a special local option sales tax (TSPLOST) referendum on the November ballot to fund transportation related infrastructure projects throughout the City of Atlanta. The ballot referendum will ask Atlanta voters to authorize a 0.4 percent sales tax increase for a five-year period.
