Lee & Associates, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the country, has named L. Brett Chambless the newest partner of the recently opened Atlanta office.
Chambless, a 24-year real estate veteran, comes to the firm with national and regional expertise in industrial real estate brokerage, site selection and location consulting. He has concluded sales and lease transactions with a value in excess of $400 million, totaling over 24 million square feet and 1,600 acres.
“Brett’s outstanding business acumen and level of experience has benefited numerous regional and national corporations in site selection and location advisory services,” said Richard Bryant, president of Lee & Associates’ Atlanta office. “Brett has completed transactions for companies such as Home Depot, Publix and Walmart throughout the Southeast and beyond—we are indeed fortunate to have him as a partner in our firm.”
Prior to joining Lee, Chambless founded Chambless Partners, Inc. in 2005. He spent 17 years as vice president with The Walker Companies after beginning his career at Cushman & Wakefield in 1986. Chambless has vast experience in landlord agency and tenant representation on a national basis—having represented major industrial corporations with real estate projects for both manufacturing and distribution operations.
Chambless holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce & business administration, corporate finance from the University of Alabama. He has been a member of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) since 1997 and is currently the treasurer of the SIOR Georgia Chapter.
