Atlanta REALTORS® Association Celebrates 2016 Top Producers

Atlanta, GA (April 10, 2017) – The Atlanta REALTORS® premier event of the year, the annual Top Producers Gala, was held March 18th at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. The sold out event brought together nearly 1,100 of the finest in the Atlanta real estate industry to celebrate the 2016 Top Producers.

Recognition as a Top Producer of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association is merited based on the Top 15% of the membership in both volume and units. The minimum required to receive recognition was just over $3.9 million in volume or 9 total units of production. This year, the Association recognized 1,135 members with a total of 220 members being recognized for the first time.

Highlights of the event included a presentation of the Top Producer Awards to the individual and team members who had the highest sales for the year, a secret that is held until the recipients are announced at the event. The Top Producers for 2016 were recognized in four categories:

Individual, Volume Category: Betsy Akers, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty (Over $68M in sales)
Individual, Units Category: Marwan Karaa, RE/MAX Metro Atlanta Cityside (155 Units)
Team, Volume Category: BrownDaniel Real Estate, Beacham & Company, REALTORS® (Over $43M average per team member)
Team, Units Category: ERA Atlantic Realty (105.25 average units per team member)
