HOUSE VOTES TO EXTEND FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAM
WASHINGTON, D.C. - June 24, 2010 - (RealEstateRama) -- With the support and backing of area Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA), the U.S. House of Representatives today voted to extend the National Flood Insurance Program through September 30, 2010. The program, which lapsed on June 1, allows property and business owners as well as renters to purchase insurance against flood losses.
KINGSTON ANNOUNCES COUNSELING GRANTS FOR ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AUTHORITY FOR SAVANNAH-CHATHAM COUNTY
Washington, DC - October 19, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA/1) announced today that Economic Opportunity Authority (EOA) for Savannah-Chatham County is the recipient of two grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The grants will be used to support services related to housing counseling to homebuyers, homeowners and low to moderate income renters.
CONGRESSMAN KINGSTON ANNOUNCES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR CITY OF HINESVILLE
September 11, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman Jack Kingston (R-GA/01) announced today that the City of Hinesville is the recipient of a community development block grant (CDBG) from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Funding will be used to fund several projects within the city including the Azalea Streetscape Project.
