RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Collects Nearly 300 Gifts for Toys for Tots Program
Marietta, GA – December 23, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — East Cobb based RE/MAX Greater Atlanta has long practiced the holiday tradition of collecting toys for the U.S. Marine’s Toys for Tots program. Despite this year’s economic challenges, the locally owned real estate franchise received nearly 300 unwrapped toys to donate to needy families this holiday season.
“I can’t remember the last time we received this many toy donations,” explained Ben Christopher, co-broker/owner of RE/MAX Greater Atlanta. “Donations started slow, but really picked up the last week we collected on behalf of Toys for Tots. We also want to give a special thank you to Sedalia Park Elementary School on Lower Roswell Road for bringing in approximately 100 gifts this week.”

Christopher said it was an incredibly rewarding way for RE/MAX Greater Atlanta to celebrate its 25th year serving metro Atlanta. Donations have continued past the firm’s December 19th deadline and RE/MAX Greater Atlanta has promised to get any additional gifts over to the U.S. Marines, up until Christmas Eve. Some people who have come in with donations have said they found it easier to drop it off at the RE/MAX office at 2050 Roswell Road than at busy local restaurants and retail stores.
