The Georgia MLS Market Recap summarizes residential property sales in the 29 county Atlanta Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA)

The following numbers reflect residential listings sold by Georgia MLS members across the state of Georgia. Inventory Supply: Atlanta MSA housing inventory totaled 24,814 units in July, an increase of 1.84% from July 2014. New listings totaled 11,162, up 11.42% from July 2014 and up 0.15% from the previous month. The months of inventory supply is 4.08 months.

Sales Activity: July residential sales were at 7,952, an increase of 17.13% from the previous year.

Average/Median Sales Price: The median sales price in July was $197,900, an increase of 6.97% from July 2014. The average sales price was $253,592, up 5.88% from the previous year.
