Turner Selected by Cobb County to Manage Construction of $57 Million Superior Court Building in Marietta, Ga.

New York, N.Y. – July 6, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Turner Construction Company, the nation’s leading general builder, was selected by the Cobb County to provide design/build services for the $57 million Superior Court Building in Marietta, Ga. Completion is scheduled for December 2010.

The 230,000 sq. ft., six-story facility will include judges’ chambers and suites, courtrooms, administrative space, district attorney’s offices, a clock tower and bridge connecting the new facility to an adjacent building.

“Turner is proud to have been selected to serve as part of the design/build team of this court facility to serve the residents of Cobb County,” said Dave Butler, Vice President and General Manager of Turner’s Atlanta office.
