Rep. Tom Graves Votes to Modernize Energy Infrastructure, Create Jobs

Washington, December 3, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) issued the following statement after voting in favor of the North American Energy Security and Infrastructure Act (H.R. 8), which would modernize energy infrastructure and update obsolete energy policies:

“America needs a 21st Century energy plan. By creating modern electric grids and pipelines and repealing outdated regulations, this bill will help create good-paying jobs, drive down utility bills and cut the cost of filling the gas tank.”

H.R. 8 passed the House by a bipartisan vote of 249 to 174.
